History of Lamprais

Lumprais is a unique combination of Dutch influence. Meat, Samba Rice (Sri Lankan originated), Seeni Sambol, Fish Cutlet, Balachaung, Ash Plantain curry (Cooking banana ), Aubergine Moju (Egg Plant), and Fried Boiled Egg wrapped into a banana leaf packet and steamed. usually with a choice of a combination of different meats like Chicken, Mutton or Fish infused with Ceylon spices of cardamom, clove, and cinnamon.
